Full Festival Programme

The 2013 Festival programme is a constant work in progress, as we strive to bring you the best fun on and off your bikes.

There is something every day for all to enjoy, and you can find out about it by choosing what rocks your boat - Family, Social, Recreational or Extreme - or by date.

While most events currently listed are all go,  the programme is subject to change... well we just want to add some more!

So come and check the site regularly, join in on Facebook or our newsletter and shortly you'll be able to download our very own smart phone App!

But best is to come and stay the full week so you won't suffer from that dreadful FOMO - Fear Of Missing Out!

FAMILY EVENTS The Festival offers a cross country day for the kids in Arrowtown, while the bigger ones can join mum and dad for a coffee ride along the Queenstown Trail tracks, or have a great recreational ride in the New World Tour de Wakatipu. The Konica Minolta Bike Day in the Park should also be fun to attend to, as well as giving it a go in the downtown criterium.

SOCIAL EVENTS Well you could join in the silliness going on at the World Bar 16Inch World Champs, cheer on the extreme freeriders throwing themselves in the air, or simply chill out and listen to music in the relaxed atmosphere of the Konica Minolta Bike Day in the Park.

EASY GOING EVENTS A full range of activities during the week will keep the social rider busy. From coffee rides, to night rides, to recreational riding... Do not forget there are also some great opportunities with the different tourism operators in Queenstown, just check what's on offer.

EXTREME EVENTS The riders at the elite end of the sport can have a full week of riding. From the Outside Sports Juice Lubes Super D, to the R&R Sport Mega Avalanche, the Teva Slopestyle, the New World Tour de Wakatipu and for the downhillers, the Vertigo Bikes DirtMasters Downhill. Bored yet - impossible, then try a heli-bike or dive into Skippers for an endless shuttle.
