Veolia Slopestyle

Today's best riders have transformed this discipline of mountain biking into a sport of best tricks judged for style and difficulty. Flatspins, can-cans, flips and Supermans wow the twilight crowd and the High Jump bonus round gives all the riders one more chance to walk away with a little more cash by one-upping the competition in height and style points.

Check out these world-class riders as they "step it up" on the jumps at the Ballarat Street car park for the Veolia Slopestyle and Best trick Comp and come party with us at the Slopestyle After Party at the Rhino's Ski Shack

Date: 21 March 12-3pm & 6pm Competition

Veolia Slopestyle

Designed and built by some of the best in the business, Kelly Mcgarry is NZ’s premier slope-style rider and represents NZ at big contests all over the world;  co-designer Tom Hey has worked on many of the most prestigious slopestyle courses including the infamous Crankworx in Whistler and Colorado.

We have a $5 entry fee for spectators. $10 for families.

The plans for 2015 are still to be confirmed but expect more of the same:  a 5 hit design featuring earthworks and wooden features : a quarter pipe to flat wall, leading to a take off ramp for fruit bowl step up step down with a 'money' trick jump at the end.

Entrants   This event is open to those who know their stuff... If you are keen, contact us at for further information and entrants details. You'll need to sign a waiver- funny that - and we basically need to know who you are.
